MHT CET 2016 Schedule Trouble

The Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test- MHT CET 2016 for the field of engineering, medical and pharmacy is facing serious flak from applicants and parents alike. This is due to a minor scheduling glitch by the State Common Entrance Test Cell.

The problem we say is minor, as it can be easily fixed. Whether or not that happens is anyone’s guess.

Exam date: 5th May 2016.

Timing: 9.15 am – 11.30 am Physics and Chemistry

                 11.40 am – 1.30 pm Biology

                 2.15 pm – 4.30 pm Mathematics

The fact that engineering aspirants will have to wait for two hours and forty five minutes, has not gone down well with them and their families. They are hoping that the State Common Entrance Test Cell understands their grievance and the timetable be changed. Since the soon-to-be engineering students have to attempt physics, chemistry and mathematics papers, biology paper can be rescheduled as the first paper of the day. In this manner, they will not have to unwillingly wait and bear the hot summery afternoon that the month of May brings along (they will sweat some while attempting the exam, so lets just save them from the sunny heat at least).

Previously too, students appearing for entrance exams have faced issues. The concerned authorities must oblige and bring some relief, shouldn’t they?

Good Luck Students, God Speed!
