The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 is as of now, the only valid medical entrance examination in India for MBBS and BDS. The Supreme Court of India in the Writ Petition (C) No(s).261/2016 on 6th MAY 2016 declared that “no examination shall be permitted to be held for admission to MBBS or BDS studies by any private college or association or any private/deemed university”. Below are the details forNEET 2016 Admit Card.
Date of issuing Admit Card/Hall Ticket: First week of July (The official website should be checked for the same)
Procedure: The Admit Card/Hall Ticket can be downloaded from the official website through registration number and date of birth (DOB).
Content of Admit Card: Name, roll number, category (GN, ST/SC/OBC, PH/PHW-GN and PH/PHW-ST/SC/OBC), photograph, examination centre, date and time of the examination.
In case the NEET 2016 Phase 2 applicant does not carry the Admit Card/Hall Ticket, he/she will not be allowed to attempt the examination.
Also, the Admit Card/Hall Ticket must have the correct information of the particular applicant. Hence, the information must be check as soon the Admit Card/Hall Ticket is downloaded. If there are any mistakes, the applicant must not fail to address the mistake immediately to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
NEET Phase 2 2016 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 24th July 2016. NEET Phase 1 2016 was conducted on 1st May 2016.
