Combined NEET Counselling in Maharashtra: Supreme Court

Supreme Court’s decision on counselling for unfilled medical seats in Maharashtra has brought a wave of relief for students. SC has ordered combined NEET Counselling for all the vacant seats in the medical colleges across the state. The apex court has said the admission process have to done by October 7, 2016.

Those already admitted in the college should not have to worry, as this decision will not affect their candidature/admissions. Thousands of medical aspirants, who qualified NEET 2016 has already got admission in various medical colleges.

The decision has cleared the big confusion over admission to private and deemed universities in the state.

If reports are to be considered, about 85% of seats are already filled.
