MHT CET 2017 Application Available Now!

DTE Maharashtra has already released MHT CET 2017 Application form on February 14. Candidates can apply till March 23, 2017 for MHT CET. In order to fill the form, candidates need to fulfill MHT CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria.

In order to fill the application form, you need to have scanned images of their photograph and signature in the specified dimensions ready. In this article we list down the complete application procedure of MHT CET 2017. Read on to know more.

Required Documents for Filling MHT CET Application Form 2017

1 Photograph The colour passport size photograph should be recent. The picture should be taken against a light/white background.

2 Signature The applicant should sign himself/herself (no capital letter) on a white paper with a black pen. Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings.

Different Stages of Application Form Filling

Filling the application form involves four (4) important stages:

Step # 1 – Registration and Form Filling

  • Go through all the important instructions provided and click on APPLY NOW
  • Fill all the personal details like applicants full name, father’s/husband’s first name, last name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth
  • Correctly, write your contact details like address, mobile number, primary email ID, confirm email ID, permanent residence, whether the applicant is an Indian national, Domicile of the applicant
  • Insert complete and correct educational details viz. place where the applicants completed their HSC (12th) equivalent examination, District of School/Jr. College, Select District of Examination Centre
  • Candidates need to add other important details like selection of subjects for the exam, mode of language for the exam
  • Enter reservation information such as category of the applicant, Whether the applicant possesses Caste Certificate, whether the applicant belongs to Non-Creamy Layer Group
  • Other information like does the applicant belong to – PWD or J&K Migrant, candidate’s religion, other entrance examinations the applicant has registered for, total annual family income, Aadhar number, bank account details for Financial Transaction (if any), Name of the account holder as per Bank record, Name of the Bank, Name of the Bank Branch, Type of Account, Bank Account Number, IFSC Code
  • Create Password: The applicants will have to create a password for all future logins. The password should be minimum of 8 and maximum of 15 characters and must contain at least one upper case, one lower-case and one numeric.
  • Declaration: The applicants will have to read over the declaration and click on “I Agree”. The security key has to be entered properly after which the applicants can click “Next” to proceed further.

Step # 2 – Uploading scanned photograph and signature

  • Upload scanned photos and signature as per the specifications mentioned above in the table
  • The uploaded files will get displayed on the screen
  • Click on Submit button to upload or on Reload to edit or make changes
  • The photo should be clear and should show the front face. Applications with unclear or blurred image will be rejected
  • The photo should be recent and coloured one. The signature should be 200 dot per inch (DPI)
  • Once the photos are uploaded, the candidates will be given a registration ID

Step # 3 – Application fee payment

  • The applicants need to pay the MHT CET 2017 Application Fee. MHT CET 2017 Application Fee can only be paid after 48 hours of registration
  • A link will be displayed on your computer screen while filling up CET application form
  • Payment of the application fees can be done only in online mode i.e., Credit Card/Debit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets for which service charges will be applicable as per the rules.
  • No other mode of payment will be accepted

Step # 4 – Confirmation Page

  • After paying the fee, the candidate will be redirected to the website
  • The application number will be generated after the successful submission of the application form
  • Click on “Generate MHT CET 2017 Registration Confirmation Page” and take a print-out or download the confirmation page
  • A print-out of the Payment Acknowledgement should also be taken out
