CBSE Opens One Time NEET 2017 Application Form Correction Window for Applicants

With the NEET 2017 application date already over, a lot of applicants were worried about the mistakes they have entered in the form. For such candidates, there is a good news! CBSE has opened one time NEET 2017 Application Form correction window to ensure the form is error free. The correction facility is available on www.cbseneet.nic.in from March 7 (10:00 a.m.) to March 12, 2017 (11:59 p.m.)

In order to ensure that data of the NEET-UG candidates are 100% correct and if any applicant has submitted wrong information in the form, the board is providing ONE TIME CORRECTION OPPORTUNITY.

Candidates are advised to be very careful while making the corrections, as no second chance will be provided for corrections.

Additional fee may be asked during the correction process. The fee shall be remitted through debit/credit card or net banking during the given period only.

Candidates are advised to take print out of the correction slip and retain the same for future reference.

However, the information bulletin states that candidates are allowed correction only in those data which may affect the merit/result.

CBSE Notification regarding One Time NEET 2017 Application Form Correction

CBSE has notified that correction is being allowed in the following details only:

Information that can be edited in NEET 2017 application form Who Can Edit Who Cannot Edit
Candidates Identity Identification All the candidates who have filled up application form with IDs other than Aadhaar Card i.e. Passport number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number, Aadhaar Enrolment Number and Registration number issued by Facilitation Centre will be able to add their Aadhaar Number or the Aadhaar Enrolment Number in the Online Application Form The candidates who have already filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card and the candidates with nationality as Foreign, OCI. PIO and NRI.
Date Of Birth (DoB) The candidates who have filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card. These candidates cannot change their date of birth as their details have been validated by Aadhaar.
Gender The candidates who have filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card. These candidates cannot change their date of birth as their details have been validated by Aadhaar
State Code of Eligibility A) The candidates belonging to the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir may also change the status of Self Declaration submitted by them.

B) The candidates belonging to the states of Assam. Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir will be able to change their state code of eligibility (to a state other than these 03 states) only if they have obtained their Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrolment Number as the exemption from Aadhaar is available only to the candidates of Assam. Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir.

C)The candidates may note that the rules which are state specific like Permissible Identity Types, Self Declaration, Medium of Question Paper and Choice of Centres, etc. will be applicable by changing the State of Eligibility and the candidate will have to fill up information in the effected fields afresh very carefully. The candidates are advised to go through the Information Bulletin once again to have a clear understanding of the concerned rules

Candidates Category Alt candidates can make correction. However wherever change in category involves higher fee, the candidates will pay the difference of the fee also. Medium All candidates can make correction. However, the candidates, who have given Tripura either in their state of eligibility or of Qualifying Examination, will be able to change the medium of Question Paper as Bengali and will also be able to Choose Agartala as their Centre The candidates may note that the rules which are medium specific like Sates of Eligibility and Choice of Centres, etc. will be applicable by changing the medium of Question Paper and the candidate will have to fill up information in the effected fields afresh very carefully. The candidates are advised to go through the Information Bulletin once again to have a clear understanding of the concerned rules
Examination Centre The candidates, who have given Tripura either in their state of eligibility or of Qualifying Examination, will be able to change their Centre of Examination to Agartala provided they have chosen Bengali as medium of Question Paper in pursuance of this opportunity. All other candidates except those belonging to the state of Tripura.

Apart from listed details, no other particulars can be modified.

  • Enter the registration number and password
  • Click on the submit column
  • Make the required changes as needed
